Pathways to Entrepreneurial
Success Summit...
In
2009 and 2010, I was involved in the planning of a community event
established to provide guidance and resources to entrepreneurs in our region - Pathways
to Entrepreneurial Success. The events were held in mid November at Monroe Community College
in Rochester, NY.
As
part of the Pathways planning committee, I conceived and created two "Ideamakers"
breakout sessions
consisting of a panel of successful entrepreneurs with different success
stories. I also participated as a
session panelist. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the
inspiring adventures of real-life entrepreneurs as they pursued their dreams
and traveled their own pathways to success. I
also had the opportunity to debut my own new endeavor - Entrepreneurial
IDEAMAKERS and make potential business connections.
The
Pathways events were a success, as were the "Ideamakers" sessions that
I conceived and organized. As a result, future Pathways events are being
planned and I continue to be involved.
