Opportunities:
The Rotary Club of Pittsford does many good works in the
community, and sponsors youth volunteer community services (Interact Club) and
inbound and outbound foreign exchange students.
Challenges: Many
community residents are not familiar with the Rotary's good works when it comes
to their support of young peoples' commitment to helping others.
Solutions:
Developed print ads in the community subscription-driven
newspaper, also supported by press releases. Focused
on targeting immediate community
and played off the Pittsford Rotary's image theme of "Fulfillment, Friendship, Fun".
Results:
Club
benefited from awareness created, which added another reason to
join the Pittsford Rotary.
